I’m a Master’s student in Biostatistics at Columbia University, specializing in applying statistical methods in health-related research settings. My work focuses on translating complex real-world data (RWD) into actionable insights for precision medicine and healthcare operations.

Currently, I am exploring the intersection of public health and machine learning. Most recently, my team placed as runners-up (Most Public Health Impact) at the PRI Narrative 2 Numbers Hackathon for designing a community-driven outbreak detection system using NLP.

Prior to graduate school, I spent four years as a Senior Scientist in the Diagnostics Division at Roche working on the Axelios SBX technology. I also interned at Philips Emergency Care and Resuscitation contributing to post-market studies for medical devices (like AEDs) and worked as an undergraduate researcher in neural engineering and optogenetics at the NERD Lab under Dr. Azadeh Yazdan. I earned my B.S. in Bioengineering (Data Science) with Honors from the University of Washington.

Outside of work, you can find me backpacking, rock climbing, watercolor painting, or solo traveling. And although I’m now on the east coast, I remain a diehard west coast sports fan— go 49ers & Warriors & Dawgs!!
